Steam Trains
Steam locomotives are history’s forefront for mechanized transportation and freight. They are fueled by burning coal to heat water and the steam produced is what makes the locomotive’s wheels rotate. Even if steam locomotives are not as sleek, fast, and powerful as the modern trains we enjoy nowadays, they are more fashionable because of their sentimental value and their memorable structure is most cherished among model train collections and collectors.
Diesel Electric Locomotives
Diesel electric locomotives are the next generation locomotives that supplied better efficiency and speed. Though they were invented in the early 20th century, diesel-electric locomotives are still being used by a lot of countries around the world. Diesel-electric model locomotives are the second most common line of popular model trains behind model steam locomotives.
Model trains come in several dimensions acknowledged as scales. The most popular of which are H0 and 00.
