Cheap Cars

Cars are a symbol of power.  Private lots and huge car collections are the fantasy of many celebrity watchers.  Cheap cars are the way to go for some folks.  It’s doesn’t have to be a clunker just because it doesn’t cost a lot.  Less costly can still be exciting to drive. Any car you choose, be sure to get a good car insurance.

A used car purchase can save a lot of money.  There a much less expensive top model cars, at least when compared to the new versions.  A whole new term has emerged for higher quality used vehicles – pre-owned.  Pre-owned cars have pulled some new car lovers into the used car world.  Consider top model cars.  Some cars like the Mercedes are so well built they are still new feeling after a decade.  In fact, many people have generations of car buyers in their family who always purchase higher end models that are used. This was immortalized in Driving Miss Daisy when the driver bought Miss Daisy’s old cars.

Some new cars are pretty inexpensive.  The Hyundai Elantra is a quality car under $12,000.  A well engineered car like the Honda Civic is only around $15K.  They get great mileage, last a long time, and retain original value very well.  These cars are also much cheaper to maintain than luxury cars that often require more expensive parts and even premium grades of gas.  If you are planning in getting professional car insurance advice, checkout the price, as car insurance rates are rising.

There are even relatively less expensive luxury cars.  The Audi brand is generally at the bottom portion of the price spectrum in the luxury class.  Audi boasts the top engineered cars in the world, bar none.  A less expensive luxury sports car is the Audi TT.

Some people mean really cheap when they say cheap.  They turn to the clunker, the hooptie, the ancient model car that was probably old when their parents first bought a car.  Teenagers often purchase such a car as their first vehiclePeople often purchase such a car as a first vehicle for a teen.  As long as it’s safe to drive, it gets them from A to B.  But watch out, the age old adage “You get what you pay for” applies to cheap cars too.  A car that constantly breaks down is no bargain at any price.
